Vegas at the Rio

Hi there ! Tim and April here .. I'm way behind and playing catchup so here are some really shot posts ..

We took another short trip to Vegas ..
This time we stayed at the Rio and we were not disappointed !
The first thing you need to know is sigh up for total rewards do it before you make reservations.
Total rewards is part of 8 hotels it's great for discounts and earning rewards .
First thing is you'll get a discount on your room and a very cool upgrade option . We stayed for 6 nights for around $600 total our original room was $250 with upgrade around $600 thanks to the card we got a 1600 sq ft 180 degree view room so worth it .
The room wasn't one of the newly remodeled ones but was still great .
Maybe you'll get lucky .
Leave the curtains open and enjoy the sunrise .

The pool is great , and free Sunday through Thursday , you can just go to the rio pool those days as its open to the public .

There is a sand pool and several hot tubs the best part it's virtually empty during the weekdays till around noon .
The rio isn't overly big and it had a shuttle to downtown the view was amazing . There is a zip line and some cheaper food options .

Also it is so worth it to get the buffet of buffets for $49 you can eat at 8 different buffets for 24 hours and you have to try the Paris it was so good.
Penn and teller was a great show so make some time for it too.
